すごく、典型的なジョーク。

In my sociology class, we were instructed to write down answers to some questions the teacher was asking.

社会学の時間、教官に言われて、先生が出した問題に対する答えを書いていた。


"Next question," announced the instructor. "How would you like to be seen by the opposite sex?"

教官は言いました、 「次の問題は、”異性にどのように見られたいか？”です。」


I was thinking about my answer when the young woman next to me turned and asked, "How do you spell 'intellectual'?"

私が、その答えを考えていると、横の若い女性が私に向いて聞いてきました、
「”知性的”ってどういう風に綴るの？」

私：「...」
